You should have experience working in large private households and be looking for a long-term role. At least one of you should have a full driving licence for this role.

- £45,000 - £50,000 gross per year for the couple

Family Background
A High Net Worth couple in Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 are looking for an experienced Live-in Domestic Couple. This is a staffed estate and they are now looking for a Domestic Couple to replace their previous Domestic Couple who have left due to personal reasons. This role would suit a self-motivated couple who enjoy being in the countryside. The country estate is also home to other staff and various animals, including dogs, llamas, and ponies – so you should be confident around animals. The main house has been recently constructed and has 10 en-suite bedrooms and extensive entertaining spaces. There are also 2 large cottages and various other buildings used by the Principal’s guests, extended family and staff. The estate is in use throughout the year, primarily at weekends.
Duties
Together you will be responsible for the cleaning of all properties on the estate to an exceptionally high standard and cleaning of immediate exterior areas e.g. terraces, poolside. Laundry and ironing and preparing rooms for family and guests. Basic DIY and household maintenance when needed and swimming pool day to day checking and maintenance. Caring for house plants and floral arrangements. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries and escorting tradesmen and contractors when they are working on the estate. Ordering and collecting cleaning products and other household supplies and equipment. Liaising with the Kitchen Gardener and collecting fruit and vegetable produce and eggs. Liaising with estate maintenance staff regarding equipment and building repairs and liaising with estate security staff regarding access and family visits. Occasional travel to the Principle’s other properties and overseas properties if required.
Location/Accommodation
The estate is in Cranleigh, Surrey GU6. You will be provided with your own 2-bed unfurnished cottage, the family are happy for you to bring pets. Utilities paid for but not Internet, Council tax or TV licence.
Days/Hours
Working 5 days per week, 8am-5pm. Working days will include weekends as this is when the estate is occupied most often. You will get 2 full days off during the week.
Languages
A good level of English is required.
Special Skills
You should have experience of working in large private households and be dedicated and reliable. You should enjoy being in the countryside and being around animals. At least one of you should have a full driving licence for this role.
