A high net worth couple who are based between London, Switzerland and Italy are now looking for a head of security to manage their family close protection and security protocols. This role is only open to skilled CPO and security individuals who can take charge and carefully manage the protection of the couple. You must have a driving licence to apply.
Package Offered
- £70,000 gross upwards depending on experience or background. The client will be happy to consider any salary for the right candidate
- Generous holiday package at 40 days per year
Client Background
A high net worth couple, they travel regularly between London, Switzerland (Saint Moritz) and Italy, and have five beautiful properties which they live and work in. The couple travel predominantly together, and due to the high profile nature of the husbands work, the couple are looking to find a close protection specialist who can work for them long term, to support, protect and stay on top of the security protocols and ensure the safety of the couple. They have a much loved dog, and enjoy travel, but require additional protection for their daily lives.
Duties
All security and close protection security duties as required by the principal, accompanying the couple for all their trips, errands and visits. You should also be happy to consult and advise on property security, ensuring that the properties are secure and the latest software is used for monitoring the homes.
You will be travelling regularly and split your time between London (4 months of the year), Switzerland (4 months of the year) and the remaining year is travel around different properties. You should be deeply culturally sensitive and be able to blend in discreetly with the background, whilst also be highly skilled in CPO and gun handling.
You should be able to setup protocols and new security systems and ensure that the homes are all upgraded to be using the latest technology, protecting the couple from cyber security risks as well as in person. You can bring in specialists and develop the team as you require – as this may need specialist support which you can advise on.
You should be happy to travel with the female principal to Italy, and also brief the household staff in new protocols and ways to keep the households safe and protected. You should ideally have a military background, and proven experience in CPO, willing to support the couple and ensure safety at all times.

Location/Accommodation
You can be based in London or Switzerland, however you should be happy to travel extensively, this will be arranged on a case by case basis depending on where your base is. Accommodation will be provided when you are travelling to any location with the clients.
Days/Hours
Working a five/six-day week, negotiated at contract stage. The principal is open to you recruiting additional staff if required for round the clock care. Hours and working days to be discussed at offer stage.
Languages
You should speak an excellent level of English. If you speak German or Italian this would be a bonus.
Skills
Military background or CPO trained, ideally with gun handling licence. You should have proven background in working with HNW clients and be able to advise on new techniques and protocols to ensure the safety of the clients and their households. You should be happy to travel extensively.
