A friendly and down to earth family based in SW13 are looking for a new helper to join their family. You should be both child and dog friendly!
A family of three, with the mother expecting her second child in June, they have had a part time housekeeper for many years. Now the mum is expecting baby number two, with life getting more hectic - they are looking for more support during the week. Their current daughter is 5 years old, and the husband works full time, travelling regularly. The mum is at home with the family. They have a little Cocker Spaniel, and live in a lovely 5 bedroom house over three floors.
You'll be responsible for all the housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and ironing. An extra pair of hands for mum with the current child and when the baby is born giving mum assistance when required around the baby. You may also be asked to collect the child for school and/or nursery if the mother is unable to collect them, you may be sole charge of the child at this time. If you cook this would be great, and if you drive the family are happy for you to use your own car for errands etc. You should have a focused and professional approach, and love to take care of the house to a high standard. You should be looking for a long term position. As it's a busy family, you should be happy to be discreet and just have good common sense to get on with tasks at hand, to help make family life run smoothly. You should be fit and healthy, leading an active lifestyle. Flexible and willing to help with babysitting occasionally when the family request in advance.
This is a live out role so there is no accommodation on offer. The family live in Barnes, SW13
Monday to Friday 7:30am start, taking the daughter to school in Putney for 8:30am. You'll then return to the house and work until 12/1pm. You'll then have this time off until 5pm when you'll return to the house and work until 8:30/9pm. The mum needs that extra help in the mornings and evenings. Occasional babysitting when agreed in advance.
You should speak a good level of English.
You do not need to drive and the family cannot provide a car, but if you have your own car and wish to drive there is on-street parking.
£350-400 net per week (£450-500 gross per week)
All taxes paid, and contract provided.
