A family based in Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25 are looking for a fluent Arabic-speaking nanny or governess to help look after their child. You should be able to commute easily or have your own car.
Package Offered
- £20 - £24 gross per hour
- Monday to Friday 15:00 – 18:00 with flexibility on these hours if required.
Family Background
This family comprises of busy parents, a child, and a friendly dog. The little girl is 18 months old, and the family have a fully-staffed house that work for them. The family has a beloved friendly dog so you must be happy working around animals. The family are looking for a nanny or governess to speak with the child in fluent Arabic.
Duties
The ideal candidate should be a confident and experienced Nanny or Governess. Fluent in Arabic. The right candidate will be very efficient and organised as well as kind and gentle with the aim to speak and play in Arabic with the little girl. You should be fun and flexible, willing to follow the family's approach with how they wish their child to be brought up. The focus is on her learning Arabic (which is her mother's native tongue) and encouraging this through play, reading and fun interactive games.
The role will be both shared and occasionally sole charge when the mum is out. The successful candidate should be reliable, have strong initiative, and be proactive, with a high level of discretion. Fluency in Arabic, written, spoken and reading is key.
Location
The family are based in Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25. You must live within an easily commutable distance.
Days/Hours
- Working Monday to Friday, 15:00 - 18:00 with flexibility around this if you require
- Ideally around 15 hours per week
- You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours or babysitting, this would be agreed in advance and will be paid as overtime
Languages
You should speak Arabic fluently to communicate with the child and family. The parents also speak fluent English.
Special Skills
You should also be confident in childcare. You should be friendly and happy to be a part of family life. You must have experience looking after children. Speak Arabic fluently. If you drive and have your own car this is a bonus.
