A family of five who live in Richmond, London, TW9 are looking for a new, after-school Nanny to help mum with the children. This is a live out role.
Package Offered
• £25 gross per hour
• Working a minimum of 15 hours each week, there will also be opportunities to do overtime.
• The role is for the hours of 4.30 to 7.30pm each day of the week. Flexibility to work on weekends or occasionally overnight is an advantage.
Family Background
A friendly family who live in Richmond, London, are looking for a new part-time nanny. In the family is the mother, father and their three boys who are 1 year old, 6 years old and 8 years old. The family also hires a housekeeper/cook. They are a lovely, down-to-earth family and they have no pets in the household.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of nanny duties for the three children. You should be happy to work alongside the mother in looking after the children. The mother feels thinly spread and so an extra pair of hands is a great help. The role predominantly involves supervising homework for the 6 and 8 year old boys. Feeding the 1 year old and attending to his needs to include playing and reading to him. An interest in education and extracurricular activities is a must!
During the school holidays, there may be the opportunity for you to travel with the family and work extra hours.
You should be flexible and willing to lend an extra pair of hands. You should be confident around children, and passionate about children's development and learning. You should be confident with both shared and sole charge.
Location
The family live in Richmond, London, TW9. This is a live out role so you must be in an easily commutable distance.
Days/Hours
• Monday to Friday
• 4 pm/4.30pm – 7.30pm each day
• You should be happy to do occasional overtime hours or work over the weekend, this would be agreed in advance
Languages
You should speak English fluently.
Special Skills
You should have experience looking after children of this age range. You should be flexible and be willing to get fully involved in family life, with a keen interest for children’s development and education. Preferably you would have a degree and childcare qualifications such as Montessori Qualifications or be a Newly Qualified Norland Nanny (NQN).
