A male British Principal in his 60s is looking for two live in Housekeepers, one to work full time in his property in the South of France, the other to travel between the South of France and the London residence. You must be fluent in one of the following languages in order to integrate with the other staff easily in the household: Tagalog, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi or other Indian languages and a good level of English.
Background
A Principal gentleman in his 60s living in both the South of France and in London. He is a friendly principal who does not organise large parties and leads a calm existence. He does travel regularly within Europe and overseas, but considers both London and the South of France as home.
Duties
As a live in housekeeper, you will be in charge for all the cleaning, laundry, ironing, and upkeep of the house. There currently is one housekeeper in the South of France property already, however more housekeepers are needed to stay on top of everything and keep the house in excellent shape.
Location
The first house is in the South of France, the second property is in London. One of the housekeepers will have her full time placement in the South of France, the second housekeeper will be flexible to travel to and from both properties and work in both – all housekeepers will be working in the South of France during the summer months as that is mostly where the Principal will be then. This is a live in role so you will have your own bedroom and en-suite.
Days/Hours
Monday – Friday with flexibility for weekend to make sure the house stays in ultimate shape at all times. This is a live in role.
Languages
You should speak a good level of English. Speaking Tagalog, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi or other Indian languages would be a plus, to be able to integrate with other members of staff.
Special Skills
You must have experience as a housekeeper in private households and be extremely organised and hands on, ideally used to working in a team. Being specialised in laundry and clothing care would be a plus.
Package Offered
Between £300 - £650 net p/w depending on background and experience.
